Sports Council Grants
Newcastle-under-Lyme Sports Council can make grant offers to Clubs/Organisations, Schools or Individuals.
Each year, the Sports Council is given a grant by the Borough Council of £20,000 approx. This funding is then awarded to grant recipients throughout the year and there can be forty plus applicants in any one year. Therefore the maximum grant which may be payable is £1000.
To be eligible clubs/organisations and schools must have a properly constituted Committee of Management and be based within the administrative area of Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, individuals must reside within the Borough.
