Betley, Balterley and Wrinehill Neighbourhood Plan
On 24 June, 2016 Betley, Balterley and Wrinehill Parish Council applied to the Council to designate its parish as a neighbourhood area. The proposed neighbourhood area was approved by the Council on 30 August, 2016. A map showing the extent of the designated neighbourhood area and original application letter are available to view via the links below:

The Parish Council have produced a website with information relating to the production of the Neighbourhood Development Plan.
Habitats Regulation Assessment Screening
In December 2019 the Council issued a screening determination of the Draft Betley, Balterley and Wrinehill Neighbourhood Development Plan 2020-2033 Regulation 14 Draft Plan v2 29 November 2019. This document determines whether the Neighbourhood Development Plan requires a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) in accordance with the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004 and European Directive 2001/42/EC. The Neighbourhood Plan group have produced the Betley, Balterley and Wrinehill Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) which is available to view from this link:
The Neighbourhood Plan group are carrying out a public consultation on the Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan during October and November 2020. Comments must be sent directly to the group using the representation form at www.bbwplan.org, by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Note the Borough Council is not hosting the consultation and therefore comments must be directed to the Neighbourhood Plan Group using the contact information above.
