Gunhild Thompson

Time Passing-Trees

28 January- 15 March

Gunhild Thomson uses photography to record changes in nature. She produces a series of photos, taken from the same position, over a period of time, documenting the change of colours in autumn and the return to life in spring, the majestic foliage of summer and the return to slumber during the winter.

Gunhild will be holding photography workshops at The Brampton Museum.  Using the setting of Brampton Park, participants will be asked to photograph the plant life, returning a month later to retake from the same position, to document the changes that have taken place.

Participants are asked to bring their own camera, and to have their first photograph printed between sessions. The workshops are open to age 10 upwards, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited so please contact the museum to book.
