This job position is within the Growth and Development directorate.

Grade 7/8 - £25,419 to £30,984 per annum

About the job 

This is an exciting time for Newcastle-under-Lyme as we roll out ambitious plans for growth. We have already embarked on a new Local Plan and a range of initiatives to further enhance our Borough. These roles are an opportunity to be involved in a varied workload delivering the Local Plan and supporting our growing number of Neighbourhood Plans.

  • Playing a key role in delivering an ambitious development plan programme?
  • Working in a recently enhanced team, where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of topics spanning urban and rural issues to develop your planning knowledge and experience?

We are ideally looking for someone with a policy interest or background, and would also welcome applications from recent graduates. If you are not already a chartered member of the RTPI we will support you to achieve this and reward you with progression to the higher pay grade.
