Daniel Jones DANCE instructors
At Jubilee2 award winning choreographer and celebrated international dancer, Daniel Jones, presents unique dance and technical classes, 1-2-1 coaching and performance opportunities for all ages and abilities. Born in Stoke-on-Trent, Daniel Jones attended the Royal Ballet School from 1985-1992 and joined English National Ballet in April 1992, where he rose to the rank of soloist and performed internationally with the company for twenty-two years.
Daniel featured in ITV’s ‘Men in Tights’, the BBC documentary series ‘Agony and Ecstasy: A Year with English National Ballet’ and was also awarded three Gold stars on Sky One’s ‘Got To Dance’.
In 2014 Daniel left English National Ballet to pursue his own direction in dance and has since taught workshops all over the world.
Daniel is Resident Choreographer at Newcastle-under-Lyme Performing Arts Centre and Culture and Dance Leader at Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, delivering an inclusive dance programme at Jubilee2 dance studios.
Born in Japan, Kei Jones started ballet at the age of 4. After a successful audition she came to UK to study at Elmhurst Ballet School at the age of 14. At 16 she won a place at English National Ballet School where she completed her training. In 2002 Kei was offered a professional contract to work with UK’s largest international touring ballet company, English National Ballet. In 2016 Kei completed her dance teaching qualifications Level 6 with bbodance.
A soloist ballerina, Kei performed in over 30 different classical and contemporary dance productions all over the world and worked and collaborated with the best dancers of her generation including Alina Cojocaru, Vadim Muntagirov, Akram Khan, Flawless and more.
Kei’s career highlights include performing on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and dancing with Flawless at O2 Arena.
Kei teaches all styles of dance and specialises in classical ballet, contemporary, flexibility and pointe work. Kei also teaches the senior Ballet Boost Associates in Hull.
Kei is passionate about passing on her vast experience and love for dance.

Body Wake Up Monday 7.45am-8.15am
Ignite the whole body with a series of exercises maximising physical potential and strength.
Ballet Posture Masterclass Monday 10.15am-11am
A classical ballet class suitable for all levels focused on posture and technique.
Body Stretch Tuesday 5pm-5.45pm
A series of stretches designed to rebalance, realign and re-energise the whole body.
Body Conditioning Wednesday 5.30pm-6.15pm
A series of floor exercises and stretches to fine tune the body, improve posture, balance and well-being.
Core Master Blast Thursday 7.45am – 8.15am
A 30 minute complete abdominal workout that conditions, shapes and strengthens the whole body whilst preparing posture for the perfect day.
Studio Dance Classes
Ballet Posture Masterclass Monday 3.30pm-4.30pm
An introduction to classical ballet class suitable for absolute beginners or for dancers who wish to further develop classical line, posture and technique.
Contemporary Moves Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm
A series of modern ballet warm up exercises followed by dynamic, flowing and free movement sequences culminating in a contemporary group dance.
DJ Dance for Parkinson’s Thursday 12.30pm-1.30pm
A creative exploration of physical and empowering movements inspired by ballet and contemporary dance.
General Ballet Friday 1pm-2pm
A traditional dance class exploring all classical ballet vocabulary. The class includes barre work, centre practice and travelling exercises.
Pro Ballet Saturday 9am-10am
An advanced classical ballet class in the format of a professional company class. The class includes barre work, centre practice, petit and grand allegro.
Cardio Dance Saturday 1pm-2pm
A series of physical, balance, agility and coordination exercises followed by a choreographed commercial group dance.
First Positions – Currently Suspended
A magical exploration of all things dance - from ballet to commercial, for carer and child, from newborn to four years of age.
1-2-1 Dance Coaching
30-minute one to one coaching sessions are available for all ages and abilities. Sessions are suitable for beginners to professional whether dancing for fun, positive health benefits or professional career development.
Dance Images Photography Session
The session is a 1 hour 1-2-1 session with Daniel Jones and is for dancers who need photos or videos for auditions etc. The session is also for individuals who would like photos of themselves in a specific costume they performed in or a video of a solo to keep for themselves or potentially share on social media.
Each session lasts 1 hour however the dancer will attend for around 30 minutes and the photo / video will be edited during the following 30 minutes. The participant may stay in the room whilst the photos/ videos are edited.
The participant will be expected to attend the first 30 minutes of the hour and will need to be prepared and ready for the images to be taken at the start of the session.

Performance Opportunities – New Dates To Be Announced 2021
Performance opportunities are open to all ages and abilities. Daniel Jones DANCE performers are divided into three groups; DJ Swans, DJ Montagues and DJ Capulets.
Dance Blast – New Dates to Be Announced in 2021
A full day of dance classes for ages 8+. The programme of classes includes ballet, contemporary, commercial, conditioning, stretch and creative workshops.
