Whether you are looking for that unusual gift or a trip to see Santa Claus, Brampton Museum has plenty to offer this Christmas.
The B(u)y Me! For Christmas exhibition showcases local artists and offers an alternative festive shopping experience to the high street stores.
Arts and crafts lovers can pick up a unique gift from the pieces on show across a range of mediums such as ceramics, glass, textiles and print.
The museum, in Brampton Park, has also produced a 2017 calendar which will make an ideal Christmas stocking filler. The calendar – an annual favourite with many local families – is full of fascinating prints of Newcastle-under-Lyme over the years, taken from the museum’s extensive photographic archive.
Meanwhile, Father Christmas will be paying a visit to the Brampton Museum on Saturday, 17 December. He will be available to meet children in his Victorian Grotto between 11am and 4pm (a £4 charge applies and includes a gift).
A pop up vintage Christmas café will also be open on Saturday, 17 December.
Parents planning a visit for their children to see Santa, should book in advance by telephoning 01782 619705.
Seasonal crafts and trails are available at the museum during normal opening times throughout the festive period.
