Additions to salary of Chief Officers

We do not apply any bonuses or performance related pay to our chief officers with the exception of progression through the incremental scale of the relevant grade being subject to satisfactory performance, which is assessed on an annual basis, the level of remuneration is not variable dependent upon the achievement of defined targets.

In addition to basic salary, set out in Appendix 2, are details of other elements of 'additional pay' which are chargeable to UK Income Tax and do not solely constitute reimbursement of expenses incurred in the fulfillment of duties.
