The landscape development section offers a wide range of services to clients both within the Council and in other public, community and voluntary sector agencies.
The section has a wealth of experience in landscape architecture in both the public and private sectors and aims to bring new and innovative ideas and design solutions to all aspects of its work.
Customer satisfaction, high quality and continuous improvement are the key objectives of the section and we aim to deliver these outcomes in an efficient and effective manner at competitive rates.
The section has expertise in project management, landscape design and construction, strategy development, external funding, community consultation, children’s play and outdoor sports facility provision as well as in-depth knowledge of the planning system and tree preservation orders.
The landscape development section works closely with clients to ensure that their needs are understood and met, and brings a fresh approach to each project, utilising new and sustainable techniques where appropriate.
Wolstanton Marsh improvements project
The expansion of the existing playground completes the works at Wolstanton Marsh, which has also included the drainage of the football pitches and avenue tree planting.
Phases One and Two of the Neighbourhood Park are complete. This has seen the creation of a cycleway, one mini and two adult football pitches, car parking and a natural play area.
