- first licence application fee: £175 (non refundable)
- first licence completion fee: £175
Some inspections (often first inspections) require a veterinary surgeon to attend. Where this applies their charge is included in our fee. Prices include VAT where appropriate

Once you have completed the form, upload it using our online service and make the required payment.
You will need:
- your completed application form
- any supporting documents
- a debit or credit card to pay the application fee

Once we receive your application and payment, we will review the information provided. If we need any additional information, we will contact you.

Licence refusals
If an officer advises that a licence will be refused or will be suspended, they should provide details with the reasons why.
