Renew a licence
Your licence will need to be renewed after 4 years.
If you get your licence renewed it will then last for 6 years. You’ll need to apply to renew it again 6 months before it expires.
How much does it cost?
We do not have a fixed fee for a zoo licence. The cost will be calculated on application. You will be charged the full costs we incur, including the charges made by any other professions we need to involve.

Complete the form
Please ensure that:
- all required sections are completed
- supporting documents are included (if required)
- the information provided is accurate and up to date
Incomplete applications may take longer to process.
Upload your form
Once you have completed the form, upload it using our online service and make the required payment.
You will need:
- your completed application form
- any supporting documents
Once you have the calculated cost, make the payment by calling the customer hub on 01782 717717.
What happens next?
Once we receive your application and payment, we will review the information provided. If we need any additional information, we will contact you.
