Is it just my council who will require me to start separating recycling from waste for collection?
No. From 31 March 2025 all business have to separate their waste for recycling.
Less than 10 staff?
If your business has less than 10 fulltime equivalent staff it is exempt until 31 March 2027.
Costs
Recycling costs less to collect than rubbish, so you can start saving straight away, and be compliant with the law.
