The Guildhall

Services

The Guildhall is open to the public 9am to 2pm Monday to Thursday.

The following services operate at the Guildhall:

  • Citizens Advice – offering advice to help with a variety of issues or queries every Monday and Wednesday, 9:30am to 12:30pm
  • Aspire Housing - providing money and housing advice every Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 1pm (for Aspire tenants)
  • Local police and PCSOs available to speak to every Wednesday, 9:30am to 12:30pm
  • Places of Welcome - offering a warm, welcoming space to enjoy company and conversation with free drinks and biscuits provided, every Tuesday 10am to 12 noon.

Please note: Barclays Bank no longer operate from this building.

Room hire

There are a variety of rooms available to hire including interview rooms, meeting rooms, office space and the downstairs foyer area.

These spaces can be used for meetings, training, interviews and community/charity activities.

We can accommodate many options from single office use up to 40+ seated events.

Room hire costs

All our rooms have a flat fee of £50 for a full day, £30 for a half day or £10 per hour.

Annual licences are also available for exclusive use.
