Recovering Council Tax
Payment arrangements
If you are having difficulty making your payments of council tax, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will consider any requests to make a payment arrangement and we will treat each request on its merits. However we will always try to recover the amount due within the current financial year and will usually protect our position in such cases by obtaining a liability order at the magistrates' court.
