This year, the membership offer is over the summer holidays – Monday 28 July to Friday 29 August 2025 (excluding Monday 26 August)

The membership is open to young people aged 8 to 16 years old and costs £12.00 and they go on sale from Monday 14 July 2025 from Jubilee2.

All memberships are allocated on a first come, first served basis as this is a limited offer.

The membership is for the following activities taking place at Jubilee2, Brunswick Street, Newcastle and includes:

Swimming (all ages)

The membership allows free swimming Monday to Friday in the following leisure swim sessions: 9.15am to 11.15am and 1.15pm to 3pm.

Gym – (12 year-olds and over)

Once a gym induction has been completed, you can use the gym Monday to Friday in the session times: 9.30am to 10.30am, 10.45am to 11.45am, 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

These sessions can be booked in advance.

Please note that access to swimming and the gym will be restricted if we reach maximum entry levels.

How to Join

You can only join onto the membership at Jubilee2.

If you have a Lyme Card already:

Go to Jubilee2 and pay for the membership - £12.00
If eligible to use the gym – please get paperwork for an gym induction

If you had a Lyme Card before and you cannot find it:

Go to Jubilee2
Purchase a new Lyme Card – costs £2.50
Purchase the membership - £12.00
If eligible to use the gym – please get paperwork for an gym induction

If you have never had a Lyme Card before:

Register for your free Lyme Card online
Go to Jubilee2
Purchase the membership - £12.00
You will be issued with a Lyme Card.
If eligible to use the gym – please book an gym induction

Behaviour

We expect all participants on the SPACE scheme to follow any advice given in order to keep all participants other customers and staff safe at all times. Repeated poor behaviour will result in your membership being withdrawn and no refund given.
