Wild Wellbeing self-led trails

Pick up a self-led seasonal trail around Brampton Park to improve your mental and physical health. Spend time outdoors, celebrate nature and discover what's on your doorstep. Printed copies available for just 50p at Brampton Museum reception.

A number of local organisations also hire our rooms and bring you a huge range of wellbeing, gentle exercise and health classes

Tuesday: Women's only walking group

Meet Charlotte and Vikcy from "INTO Newcastle" for a gentle paced walk through Brampton park and along to Stubbs walk. The walk is 2 miles and will take about 60 minutes. Meet outside Brampton Museum every Tuesday 10:30am, enjoy these beautiful green spaces and then circle back to the Brampton museum cafe for a cuppa and a chat.

Thursday: Chair-a-cise classes

Allyson hires our Alder room every Thursday morning to host vibrant chair-a-cise class for just £4. Combining chair and exercise with gentle dance and mobility stretches, it's prefect for people who are recovering from an injury or at risk of falling.

Friday: Nature therapy

Every Friday 1.30 – 3.30pm starting July 2024.

Feeling stressed, anxious, or isolated? Spending time in nature has proven benefits for physical and mental wellbeing. This 12 week programme delivered by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust will have a different focus each week, such as simple seed sowing and gardening, wildlife based meditation and plant themed art and craft sessions.
