Schools waste collection service

We provide great collection services to schools.

Do you have an existing contract with us?

Schools with an existing contract with us pay a reduced rate for collection of waste. They only pay for the collection, not disposal of their waste. At these schools, collections of recyclables and food waste are free.

This provides an incentive to ensure the whole school recycles as much as possible, and provides a market-beating contract to schools. If a school has a contract with us, moves to another service provider, and then asks us to provide collections again, we will charge the school the full rate for waste, recycling and food waste collection services.

Recycling regulations

The simpler recycling regulations mean that schools must be recycling a core set of materials, just as businesses have to.

This means that the following all have to be recycled:

paper and card

glass bottles and jars

cans

foil

aerosols

plastic bottles

pots

tubs

trays

films and bags

cartons

food waste
