The museum is in Brampton Park,on the A527 from Newcastle town centre heading towards Wolstanton and May Bank. The museum postcode is ST5 0QP if you are using a satnav.
Buses 98 and 99 which start and terminate at Newcastle bus station stop at the park.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE MUSEUM THE CAR PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FROM 1 MARCH 2021 UNTIL LATE JULY 2021. THE CAR PARK NEAR THE CAFE AND NURSERY WILL BE OPEN. THERE ARE BLUE BADGE SPACES AVAILABLE THERE. THE OVERFLOW CAR PARK AT THE PARK ENTRANCE WILL BE OPEN IN GOOD WEATHER*
We have a free car park just in front of the building. There are two disabled parking spaces and extra parking is available next to the children’s play area and the café.
During busy times, the overflow car park at the entrance to the museum will be open. There are parking spaces with parking meters on Brampton Road.
There are two parking spaces for Blue Badge holders at the front of the museum.
For easy access….
There is wheelchair access available to all areas. We have an accessible toilet.
We have a wheelchair available to visitors kindly donated to us by Castle Comfort Centre, Wolstanton.
For visitors with hearing impairment we hold a portable induction loop at reception and also an induction loop in the main gallery. These can be used by switching hearing aids to the T-position.
For babies (and parents)…
There are baby changing facilities available in all toilets. Breastfeeding mothers are welcome and a quiet area can be provided if required.
