The Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF)

Supporting local business

As a local authority, we need to support our business needs and focus on creating jobs and boosting community cohesion. The targets identified through our networks has suggested that interventions are needed in business start-up and sustainability, technology and digital interventions, green energy and innovations, and health and social care.

Our projects will support innovations and growth through collaboration and knowledge sharing protocols. The investment into technology and infrastructure will support our economy and workforce.  Our partners at Keele and Staffordshire Universities are looking to provide digital readiness and advanced intelligence support along with our entrepreneurial readiness. We want to lay the foundation for education, skills, and learning and at the heart of these projects our communities and residents.
