What happens next?

If your nominee is shortlisted we will contact them directly to inform them by 20th February 2026.

The awards evening will take place on 26th February at Keele in Town in Newcastle town centre. Winners will be required to attend the event to accept the award. Complimentary tickets for nominee and one guest (nominee and two guests for Young Hero award) will be supplied.

Your reasons for nominating them will go into the local press and online on our website and social media pages.
