Freedom of information (FOI) requests

How long will it take you to respond to a FOI request?

We must reply to you within 20 working days following the date of receipt of the request.

If we receive the request on a working day, this is the date of receipt. If the request is not received on a working day, then the first working day following its arrival is the date of receipt.

Working days are any day other than a weekend, or a public holiday anywhere in the UK.

Where the information is especially complex or voluminous, or where we need to consult with third parties we may need additional time, we aim for this to be no longer than an additional 20 working days.
