Move it or lose it

Move it or Lose it classes are exercise classes which can help you build your strength and balance. Our instructors have completed the FABS Exercise Programme which combines the 4 essential components for health and wellbeing – Flexibility, Aerobic, Balance and Strength (FABS).

The classes are 45 minutes in length and take place in our studios. They are a great way to help you to improve your strength, stay flexible and reduce your risk of falls. The exercises incorporate a range of abilities as the exercises can be done seated, supported standing and standing. This allows everyone the opportunity to take part without the worry of not being able to take part.

Frequently asked questions

When are the classes?

Currently the classes take place in Studio 2 on Monday’s at 2pm, Wednesday’s at 11.30am and Friday’s at 1pm.

Do you have to be a member to be able to attend?

No, the classes can be attended by members and well as pay as you go customers. The classes are also part of our Active Life referral programme.

What do I need to wear and bring with me?

Please wear comfortable clothing and ideally trainers. You should also bring a bottle of water with you so you can keep hydrated during the class.

How do I book a class?

You can book up to 7 days in advance for your class by going online
