We would like to know how much you pay each month, on average, for your bills.

How to calculate a monthly expense.

If you normally pay a bill weekly, take the weekly amount, multiply by fifty two (52) and divide the answer by twelve (12)

For example: 25.00 x 52 / 12 = 108.33 per month

If you pay a bill quarterly, multiply the payment by four (4) and divide the answer by twelve (12)

For example: 250.00 x 4 / 12 = 83.33 per month

For bills which vary greatly throughout the year, such as energy bills, add up the individual bills covering a 12 month period and divide the answer by twelve (12)

For example: 500.00 + 250.00 + 150.00 + 350.00 = 1250.00 / 12 = 104.17 per month

Please note that you do not need to use the £ sign.
