Package 2: Leisure facilities in Kidsgrove’s public parks

The health and well-being theme of the Kidsgrove Town Deal includes improvements to leisure and community facilities in public parks. Kidsgrove’s elected members, with support from the local community, identified two areas on which to concentrate.

The first of these was the creation of new recreational facilities in Newchapel Recreation Ground. The pump track was officially opened on 18 June 2021.

The second area was Clough Hall Park. Several projects, such as revamping the main pavilion and improving pathway drainage, have helped improve the look and feel of the park.
