Recycling and waste collections over Christmas and New Year
Some recycling and waste collections over Christmas and New Year are affected by the bank holidays.
You can check your collection day online.
Christmas week:
For collections due on Wednesday (Christmas Day), Thursday (Boxing Day) and Friday, 27 December, please put your containers out on Friday, 27 December and allow up to one extra day for collection.
New Year week:
For collections due on Wednesday (New Year's Day), please put your containers out on Thursday, 2 January.
For collections due on Thursday 2 and Friday, 3 January, please put your containers out on the usual day and allow up to one extra day for collection.
Garden waste subscription service:
The last garden waste collections of the 2024 subscription year take place on Friday, 20 December.
