There will also be the chance to speak to officers from all the partner organisations, see demonstrations take part in free fun activities and take advantage of free giveaways.

Advice and guidance on offer about finding employment, health and wellbeing and more.

Gill Heesom, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council’s Cabinet member for Community Safety and Wellbeing said:

Our community safety days are always popular with residents from across the borough and we’re looking forward to the latest this Thursday.

There will be fun for all the family and it’s great to be able to stage the event during the school summer holiday. It also gives people the chance to meet their local officers from each organisation and find out more about the valuable work they do in our area.

It promises to be an enjoyable afternoon with some handy tips and advice on keeping safe from team members.”
