Transfer a premises licence

Before you apply you will need: 

• to download and complete the transfer consent (completed by the old premises licence holder)

• proof of right to work (if applying as an individual or as partners)

• return the old premises licence

Once you have this information you will be able to submit it with the application form.  This is done through an external website and will allow you to make the payment by card.

What if I can’t find the premises licence or can’t contact the previous premises licence holder? 

You must complete the boxes on the application form detailing the effort made to obtain the licence and/or form. 

What happens if the premises licence holder changes name or moves address? 

The premises licence holder must notify the council of the change. 

You need to complete the application form to change name or address on a premises licence from the Gov.UK web site.
