Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council wants to encourage and support individuals who wish to carry out volunteer works on our land for the good of the local community. To enable this we will need to hold information such as contact details of the people concerned on our database. In addition, where appropriate, we would like to take and use photographs of our volunteers in a variety of places including in our newsletter, on our website, on social media including “Facebook” and “Twitter” and on displays at some of our events.
The change to data protection laws that came into force on Friday 25 May 2018 means that we are required to gain consent from you to hold your information and to take or use photographs of you as described.
