Anyone wishing to hold an event where any licensable activity will take place must give notice of the event (a Temporary Event Notice) to the Council at least 10 working days before the event takes place. A copy of the notice must also be given to the Police and to the Environmental Health Department.
The 10 days does not include:
The day the application is accepted by the licensing office
The day of the event
A late Temporary Event Notice can also be given up to five working days but not later than nine working days before an event is due to take place.
A 'working day' is any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday.

What you will need to apply:-
You will need a total of three completed application forms for each temporary event. The organiser of the event must submit the following items:
A copy of the completed application form to the licensing office
The fee, which is £21 per Temporary Event Notice (cheque or card payments only please)
One copy of the completed application form to each of the other responsible authorities

If you apply online, the Licensing Team will forward copies of the Temporary Event Notice to the other responsible authorities and a card payment will be requested when you submit the application form.
