How To Get To Newcastle-under-Lyme
By Road
From the north – at Junction 16 of the M6, turn left on to A500 southbound. Leave A500 at junction with A34 signposted Newcastle. Remain on A34 (southbound) to Newcastle town centre.
From the south – at Junction 15 of M6, turn left at the first roundabout towards Clayton/Newcastle. Pass the Holiday Inn hotel on your left, go across the next roundabout and through the next set of traffic lights. Go straight on at the next roundabout (this is the A519) to reach the town centre.
By Rail
The nearest major railway station is Stoke-on Trent where you can catch regular, direct trains to Birmingham, Crewe, Derby, Manchester, Stafford and London.
Kidsgrove railway station sits in the north of the borough, seven miles north of Newcastle town centre, and there are regular direct services to Birmingham (and its airport), Crewe, Derby, London and Manchester - and one train a day to Blackpool in the summer months!
