Additional equipment at polling stations
Where possible, each polling station will have equipment available for electors such as:
- ramps for access
- pencil grips or easy grip pencils for voters with dexterity issues
- chairs for those unable to stand for long periods
- magnifying glass to increase text size on documents
- large print ballot papers
- Assistance at a polling station
You are also allowed to take a carer, relative or friend with you to a polling station if you need additional assistance, though the person you bring with you must be aged 18 or over.
Alternatively, if you would prefer help from our polling station staff, just ask and they will be happy to assist.
