In what circumstance would a request to see the footage be approved?
Requests to see the footage will be submitted for approval if they are made via an official data request form and can prove legitimacy of interest. This includes requests made by the statutory authorities for any of the following purposes:
the prevention or detection of crime
the apprehension or prosecution of offenders
the assessment of health and safety
If the footage needs to be viewed as part of an investigation, how will you protect the privacy of other people who appear but are not relevant to the enquiry?
