Book a test
Your vehicle will need to have passed the garage safety test before you can submit your renewal application.
Please note: the earliest you can present your vehicle for test is 8 weeks before the current expiry date and you need to consider that the garage may be closed over holiday periods.

Booking a test after an accident
If your vehicle has been in an accident you will need to have a spot check on the vehicle to make sure that it is roadworthy and that the works have been completed to our requirements.

If there is a delay to the process due to works being carried out or insurance issues then you should notify the Licensing Team by emailing licensing@newcastle-staffs.gov.uk.
