Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) requests
Is there a charge for an EIR request?
The EIR does not require charges to be made but we have the discretion to make a reasonable charge for environmental information. However, if we are providing access to a public register, or if you want to examine the information at one of our offices, access to the information will be free of charge.
Where we propose to make a charge this will be included on our schedule of charges detailing the price for publications or charge per unit of work which will be incurred to meet the request.
Where an advance payment is required, we will let you know and invite you to say whether you wish to proceed, proceed with part of the request or whether the request may be met in some other way i.e. by viewing the information at one of our offices.
