Voting in person at a polling station
We'll send a poll card to all eligible registered electors shortly before an election. This will confirm the election date, your polling station location and opening hours.
You don't need your poll card to vote but it may help speed the voting process along if you present it to the staff on duty. Simply turn up, provide your photographic ID, collect a ballot paper and vote for your chosen candidate/party, before placing it in the ballot box provided.
