Profile

The local council provides local services for the people of Newcastle-under-Lyme, the aim being to make the town a place that people are proud to call home. Stephen's role in the organisation is Cabinet Member for Finance and Efficiency.

Stephen has been a Clayton resident for 32 years, local councillor for Clayton Ward and county councillor for Newcastle South County Division which includes the town centre.

Regarding the town centre, he is particularly interested in the development of the market and any improvements that drive footfall and spend to the local economy.
