Walleys Quarry mediation frequently asked questions

Why have you not gone to court?

It is standard practice in any legal dispute for the parties to explore the possibility of a settlement outside of court. The court expects all parties to do that and there can be serious cost consequences at the end of a trial if the court feels that the parties have unreasonably refused to engage in settlement discussions.

The outcomes are more far reaching than what we would have been able to achieve from simply defending an abatement notice at trial.
