When will the smell stop?

No operational landfill will ever be completely odour free. This is mainly due to the nature of waste materials and the operations and processes that occur on site.

The abatement notice does prohibit Walleys Quarry Limited (WQL) from allowing or permitting the recurrence of an odour nuisance. The abatement notice gives 5 months for WQL to comply.
