The community and the environment
Residents
Residents are the beating heart of the Borough and anything that we do must involve them to ensure it is a benefit to the community as a whole.
With that said, residents have a key part to play in becoming an environmental and biodiverse borough. Without the participation of residents our goals would not be possible, homes could not be insulated or powered by clean energy, food waste and recycling would go to waste and most importantly the community would not have the benefit of a healthier and safer society.
To ensure that residents are aware of the problems we face today we have developed our webpages to include more information about the environment which you may have already seen.
Please see the next sections to learn more about how you, as a resident, can make an impact towards our goals of becoming an environmental borough.
