Keele neighbourhood plan representations

KNP9 - Green gap around Keele Village which does not include the area of Station Road meeting A525 area
I believe this area should remain as it is. The addition of 2 new properties on the adjacent corner of this junction will already cause concerns about safety around this junction particularly as it joins the A525.
The junction on the A525from Pepper Street is already quite an unpleasant junction to navigate both by car and on foot given the speed restriction of 50MPH on this road. The addition of further entrance/exit for any commercial building would deem it a dangerous area.
The current land, in question, and habitat absorbs noise from the A525 for residents of Station Road and if taken away, would contribute to noise pollution at this end of the village. The area has established trees and wildlife which would be hugely impacted by a change in the use of the land. These trees have self seeded over the years and are in keeping with the overall look of the area.
This village setting is not the place for commercial buildings eg a petrol station, as has been rumoured, this will increase traffic on Station Road which I have already seen increase in the 3years I have resided here which I can only put down to extra traffic from the University campus and possible use as a rat run from Three Mile Lane and M6.
The quiet nature of this village would be impeded further by the noise of tankers and extra traffic, 24 hours a day, also more air and noise pollution and littering - more places for the youth in noisy vehicle to gather and congregate.
There are far more viable, safer, more advantageous to developers, areas to build on. The current plot is in keeping and should remain as it is, I fail to see any advantage, financially to the investors or to the house prices in this area.
