Household collections (recycling, food, garden and rubbish) privacy notice

We do not need, and do not use, information about you for routine bin collections. Information about you will only be used: 

• to enable us to comply with our legal obligations relating to waste and recycling collections

• to ensure the efficient operation of our waste and recycling service to residents. For clarity, we may use a customer's data to contact that customer about service issues, such as service delays or cancellations due to bad weather for example. We will also use  a customer's data to notify that customer about renewing the garden waste subscriptions at the end of each scheme year

• to assist with the planning, performance monitoring, review and future shaping of the service

• to respond to a contact or service request you make to us including potentially to contact you by post, email or telephone
