If someone moves in to your house
Single person discount cancellations
When someone moves in to your house and you are no longer the only resident over 18 years old, it's important that you tell us.
Please do this by logging in to your online account and remove your single persons discount:
Households with more than one adult
When another person or persons join a household that already has 2 or more residents who are 18 years old, please let us know.
To do this, complete a statement of persons joining household form:
If someone moves out of your house
Single person discount applications
If someone moves out of your house and you become the only resident over 18 years old, it's important that you tell us.
Please do this by logging in to your online account and add a single persons discount:
Households with more than one adult
When a person or persons move out of a household and 2 or more residents who are 18 years old remain living in the house, please let us know.
To do this, complete a statement of persons leaving household form:
If you move house
If you are moving out of your current house and moving into another property, please let us know using your online account:
New build properties
As new build properties sometimes take a little time to be registered, we are unable to receive your notification of moving in through your online account. Instead, please complete our separate new occupier form for moving into a new build home:
New to the borough
If you are new to the borough and do not have an online account yet, please download and complete our new occupier form. Once completed, please upload the file to us using the generic account reference number on the form. When your account has been set up, you will receive a bill with your new account reference number.
