Account details

If you need to update your contact details or communication preferences, you can do this quickly and securely through your online Council Tax account. 

Before you start 

To update your details online, you'll need to have registered for an online account. 

If you haven't already registered, visit:

What can I update? 

You can use your online account to: 

  • Change your name 
  • Update your correspondence address 
  • Add or update your telephone number 
  • Add or update your email address 
  • Manage your contact preferences 
  • Sign up for paperless billing 

How to update your details 

  1. Visit our Online Council Tax service.
  2. Select My Account Details. 
  3. Sign into your account. Your username is usually your email address.
  4. Select the Account Information tab. 
  5. Click on Update Information.
  6. Update the information you would like to change. 
  7. Click the Finish button to submit your changes. 

What happens next? 

Many changes are updated immediately through your online account. Where a review is required, your request will be reviewed by our Customer Hub team.

How long does it take for changes to be updated? 

Many changes are updated straight away. Where a review is required, our Customer Hub team will process your request as soon as possible.
