Licensing of sex establishments

Each application will be considered on its own merits following the appropriate consultation and in accordance with this policy.

Any licence may be granted subject to conditions imposed by us, therefore an application should not be refused if conditions could adequately address any area of concern

All licences will be subject to our standard conditions for sex establishments in addition to any conditions that the Licensing Committee may impose.

All applications for the grant of a new licence will be determined at a public hearing by the Licensing Committee.

All applications for a renewal of an existing licence where no objections are received will be considered by the Licensing Committee.

All applications for a transfer of an existing licence will be referred to the Licensing Committee or a Licensing Sub-Committee to be determined at a public hearing.
