Welcome to Brampton Museum
Set in the beautiful Brampton Park, we are a welcoming and lively museum where there is always something interesting to see and do. We have a number of galleries featuring collections which tell the story of Newcastle-under-Lyme and its people from the Roman invasion onwards. Firm favourites are our amazing Victorian street scene with its life-sized shops evoking an era of great prosperity in the town and our toy gallery full of bears, dolls and toys from years gone by.
There is a programme of temporary exhibitions to suit all tastes including fine art, social history, crafts and a popular family-focussed show during the summer months.
Our exciting schools’ programme is popular and uses our collections to educate and entertain.
We collect and care for objects which illustrate our past. More information about our collections can be found on our collections page.
