Adult(s) in hospital or care
If an adult who lives at the property is in permanent residential care in hospital or at a care home, please apply for a residential care discount.
What you will need to apply
You will be asked these details about the adult in care:
- the Council Tax account number this discount applies to
- full name
- name of care home or hospital
- date of admission
- next of kin name and contact information
As part of the application, we are required to write to the care home or hospital stated in the application. Please download and complete the consent form. The completed consent form will then need to be scanned or photographed and uploaded to give your consent.
