Recycling, household rubbish and garden waste subscription collection policies

This policy explains what services Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council operates for recycling and household rubbish collections, and also the garden waste subscription service, and how they should each be used.

The council must operate services which work for all residents (see appendix 1), spend money wisely and efficiently, minimise its impact on the environment, and work within the legislative framework.

We will endeavour to communicate clearly about our services at all times, using the council website and social media for up-to-date information and when recovery work (such as in cases of bad weather) is required. We will also provide printed material where it is the most appropriate means of communication and information through Customer Services.
