Our commitment

Our commitment to residents:

  • helpful, polite staff providing excellent service standards and advice

  • collections on the scheduled date - weekly food waste, and fortnightly collections of recycling and household rubbish – starting at 6:00 a.m. each day

  • we’ll replace emptied containers tidily and considerately, and clear up any spillages

  • if you subscribe to our garden waste collections, we promise a fortnightly collection throughout the year

  • if you advise us that we’ve missed your bin before the end of the next working day, we’ll apologise and be back for it within 2 working days

  • we’ll recycle all your recyclables and make sure nothing goes to landfill

 


 

Residents

What residents need to do:

  • recycle as much as you can and use your household rubbish bin for the things you can’t recycle

  • subscribe to our convenient garden waste service if you have more garden waste that can fit in your rubbish bin

  • put the right container out on the right day in the right place by 6:00 a.m. and keep the containers on your property between collections. We’ll charge you for delivery of a replacement if your container is lost or stolen

  • if your collection has been missed report it by the end of the next working day or we will not be able to return. Forms on our website are the most convenient way to report this, but phones are staffed during office hours

  • report it to us if our services fall below the high standards you and we expect, using our quality of service form. If something goes seriously wrong, please make a corporate complaint
